So I have been nominated by Fighter's Only, as Female Fighter of the Year. If you feel like I deserve it, you can opt to vote for me. Voting closes on December 5, 2009 (I think), but don't procrastinate!

Some of you may have heard that I was scheduled to fight November 20...I was, but now I am not. We have been talking a lot with Strikeforce and we're hoping to get that fight early in the New Year (for me it couldn't be early enough!)

On another great note, the ZUMA Team took home 27 medals at the Western Canadian Martial Arts Challenge at BCIT October 23/24. Everyone did extremely well and at final count we have 14 Gold, 6 Silver and 7 Bronze medals. If anyone wants to donate their medals to our medal wall...bring them in with your initials or name on the back and I'll put them up for everyone to see.

Congrats again, and if anyone is looking to compete right away, Revolution is hosting a BJJ/Grappling Tournament November 7 and 8 in Vancouver.
